You’re invited! Trailblazing women launch

Everyone is invited to join us to explore the stories of some of the remarkable women who have shaped Hackney’s past and present. 

Join us for a morning of story telling and discovering the powerful histories and stories of women in Hackney. Read aloud by Xenia participants we will be hearing and reading the stories that have been collected by our Xenia group over the last year from nominations made by the public. We will also be launching our illustrated map of Hackney and audio recordings to go with it…so you can walk around Hackney and listen to the stories of people and places on your way. Following the launch in March 2024 you will be download the map from our website and listen to the audios at the different locations in Hackney.

We are excited to showcase this alternative version of Hackney’s story and hope you can join us! Refreshments will be served, children welcome.
